Payments in the Android app
In the Astrodamus app from Google Play, subscriptions and one-time reports are paid through Google Play. Prices are shown in your currency, Google charges them, and the receipt comes from Google Play.
How to pay
- Sign in to your Astrodamus account: the plan is saved to your account.
- Open “Plans” and tap “Choose” on a plan, or “Buy report”.
- Confirm the payment in the Google Play window.
The payment window closes once the Astrodamus server has checked the purchase. If the payment is pending (for example, cash at a store), access opens when it goes through.
Restoring purchases
Every time you sign in, the app sends your Google account's purchases to the server. If the connection dropped during payment, the purchase is restored the next time you sign in. Each purchase is tied to one Astrodamus account. If a purchase is more than a day old and not yet linked to any account, we check it manually: contact support if access doesn't appear.
Canceling and payment method
A Google Play subscription is managed only in Google Play. In “Plans”, tap “Manage in Google Play” to cancel or change your card. After canceling, you keep access until the end of the paid period. If a charge fails, Google gives you a few days to update your card, and access stays on meanwhile.
Website subscriptions
If you subscribed on astrodamus.net, sign in to the same account in the app: your plan already works, no need to pay twice. You manage that subscription in a browser, on the website. While a Google Play subscription is active or paused, the website won't sell a second one, but you can still buy single reports there. It works the other way too: with a website subscription (even one with an unpaid invoice), a new in-app subscription won't go through, and Google refunds it.
