FAQ
How accurate are the calculations?
Planets come from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same library astro.com uses. Results are checked against ZET 9 on a set of reference charts, and individual methods against published values from NASA, JPL Horizons and Astronomy Engine. The checks run on every change to the app.
Why is my Ascendant different from another program?
Usually it's the time zone. Compare the info line above the wheel (UTC offset and UT time) with the other program. For dates before 1993 in the former USSR, Astrodamus corrects the zone from regional history (Time zones). Another reason: a different house system or a sidereal zodiac in the settings.
I don't know my birth time. What now?
Use 12:00 and lean on the planets' signs and the aspects between them. Leave the houses and the Ascendant aside. More in Your first chart.
Do I need an account?
To build charts and read the interpretation, ready-made reports, personal forecast and day picker, no. You need to sign in for Pro mode, saved charts, PDFs from the menu, import, export and notifications.
Where are my saved charts?
“Menu → Open saved…” or the “My charts” list in the account card. If you signed out, your profile charts are hidden on this device until you sign in again.
Can I bring my charts over from ZET?
Yes: “Menu → Files → Import from ZET, AAF, Astrolog” with your .zbs file (Import and export).
How do I share a chart?
Copy the page address. It contains all the chart data, so the other person gets the same chart. Life events and the comment stay out of the link.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after the first visit: see Install.
