Terms of Use

The parties

These terms are an agreement between you and Polite Moose Limited, Rm 7B, One Capital Place, 18 Luard Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, the owner of Astrodamus (astrodamus.net). By using the site or creating an account you accept these terms.

What Astrodamus is

Astrodamus calculates astrological charts, forecasts and reports. Planetary positions are calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris (Astrodienst AG). Interpretations follow astrological traditions.

No guarantee of outcomes

Astrology is not a science. The service is meant for self-reflection and entertainment. It does not replace advice from a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial adviser. Don't base decisions about health, money or safety on it.

We work to keep calculations accurate but cannot guarantee they are error-free. Accuracy also depends on the data you enter: birth time, place and time zone.

Your account

• Use a working email and keep your password secret. The account owner is responsible for what happens in the account.
• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time under "Manage profile".

Acceptable use

You may not:

• use the service to break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• enter other people's data without the right to do so;
• disrupt the service, for example by overloading it, scraping it or bypassing its protections;
• present the service's materials as your own or resell them.

If you break these rules we may restrict access or delete the account.

Rights to materials

The code, design and texts of Astrodamus belong to Polite Moose Limited or are used under licence. You may save, print and show the charts and reports you create for personal use and in work with clients, crediting Astrodamus.

Your data stays yours. We use it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We may change, add or remove features and pause the service for maintenance.

If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be shown before you pay.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Polite Moose Limited is not liable for indirect losses or lost profits arising from use of the service or from decisions based on its materials. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Disputes go to the courts of Hong Kong, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to the terms

We will announce significant changes on the site. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new version.
