Sagittarius Rising (Ascendant in Sagittarius)
Sagittarius rising, or an Ascendant in Sagittarius, means people see you as open, cheerful and free-spirited, someone who's easy to be around. Your first response to something new is to see an opportunity and an adventure. The main lesson of Sagittarius rising is making sure your honesty doesn't sting and your spur-of-the-moment promises get kept.
What It Means
Your Ascendant describes your manner, outward appearance and approach to new things. With Sagittarius rising you meet life with optimism: you believe in the best, make friends easily and love travel and fresh ideas. You give the impression of someone who knows where they're headed, or at least enjoys looking for the way. Jupiter rules your Ascendant, so its sign and house show where you find growth and luck. You often become a teacher or an inspiration for others. The challenge is impatience with details and bluntness that can hurt.
Love and Relationships
When meeting people you're open, fun and easygoing. People enjoy your company. You want a partner who's a fellow traveler, someone to explore and grow with. Show consistency and keep your word.
Work and Money
At work you come across as energetic, optimistic and inspiring. Roles involving teaching, travel, international projects, sports and promoting ideas suit you.
Appearance and Style
Sagittarius rising is associated with an open smile, loose, expansive movement and an athletic look. Comfortable clothes, global prints and finds from your travels often appeal. This is a general tendency; appearance depends on the whole chart and genetics.
